Heinrich Christoph SCHROEDER (1805-1869) and wife Catharina Sophia OTTE (1813-?) from Schatensen, Germany came to Will Co., IL in the 1860's with children: Catharina Dorothea (1834-?) married Mr. WARNECKE; Catharina Marg. Doro. (1836-1926) married Johann Heinrich ROETTER and settled in Fillmore Co., NE; Margarethe (1839-1909) married Wilhelm TEGTMEYER lived near Beecher, IL; Henry (1841-?) married Marg. Dorothea CASSIER in 1870; Christoph Leonhardt (1846-1922) married Elizabeth KUHLMANN (1846-1924) settled at Ulm, Prairie Co., AR; Wilhelm (1848-1916) married Sophia RIECHERS and settled at Fillmore Co., NE; and Heinrich Christoph (1852-1920) married Mary? and settled at Ulm, Prairie Co., AR.

I am searching for information about Henry SAYLES or his wife, Lucy Ann LEWIS who came to Arkansas around 1860. Henry traveled to Bates County, Missouri during the Civil War and then returned to Arkansas after the War. He died in 1870 in Arkansas and is buried in Hutson Cemetary, Prairie County, Arkansas. Children were Mary Irene, Albert Sydney, William Henry, Ida Masy Edgar Elvis and Robert Eli. I would appreciate any information on this SAYLES line.

Have recently found that Enoch JARVIS, after the death of his first wife, about 1850 in NC, married Betsy Ann CHAFFIN in Prairie Co AR. Enoch died in 1863. I believe he was from same area of NC, Old Rowan CO, that Betsy Ann's family had just moved from. See CHAFFIN on query board. I have no further knowledge any JARVIS descendants of this couple.

Abselom B, BITTICKS b. April 7, 1822 Tenn d. Jan. 15, 1883 Roe, Prairie. Ark. Wife: Eliza WEBB b. 1834 in Tenn d. Sept. 16, 1889. Son Wood BITTICKS married Mary Grace ROSS. (Family history states she is Cherokee) These are my great-grandparents. Son Glen Leon BITTICKS was born in Grand, Prairie Ark. He is my grandfather. Family story is also that BITTICKS is derived from a French name meaning little boat. I wonder if they were traders.

Info on Victoria WELL or WELLS/BARNETT/ANDERSON was married to Isaac BARNETT until he died 1914 remarries a man last name ANDERSON lived in Prairie and White County. She had children of Isaac BARNETT, names Lawrence, Jesse, Pearl, Nellie, any information would help. She is my grandmother.

Looking for Info on Richard Carroll HUGHES, born 07/05/1898. He married Bertha Mae MARTIN, daughter of Bill MARTIN and Sarah J. ROBERTS. He spent most of his life in the Biscoe area. They had 12 children, some of which still live in Biscoe. I would appreciate any info on Richards parentage or Bertha's.

Looking for info on John Allon WILLIAMS born abt 1891 In Tenn. He married Rosie V. HAYES. They lived in Des Arc, sometimes in a house boat on the White River. They had 5 children, Harvey, Ruth, Gladys, Maggie and Helen. Would like any info on John's parents or Rosie's. John died Jan. 1956 at the home of his daughter in Des Arc.

I am looking for information on my great grandmother. Her maiden name was Laura WOOD. Her married name was Laura BEGGS. I believe her middle name was Louise but I'm not positive. She was born Sept. 6, 1876 possibly in Missouri. She died on Feb. 5, 1958 in either Des Arc, AR (Prairie County) or Carlisle, AR (Lonoke County). Her husband's name was Samuel Andrew BEGGS. He was born on May 21, 1879 and died on Sept. 19, 1958 also in either Des Arc or Carlisle. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Thank You.
