BUSTIAN, BUSTION, HARTLEY posted by Becky Ross on Monday, April 1, 2002

I am looking for the marriage license of my great great grandparents: Magda (Maggie) BUSTIAN or BUSTION to Ira Edwin HARTLEY somewhere between 1879 and 1882, in Prairie County, Arkansas. I am living in Oregon and cannot get to the DeValls Bluff or Des Arc Courthouses very easily. I would be immensely grateful to anyone visiting those courthouses who would look up this marriage license and let me know any information. I am looking for Magda's parents names and birthplaces but any information would be helpful. Many thanks, Becky Ross

BUSTIAN, HARTLEY posted by William Cooper on Tuesday, April 9, 2002

I'm researching Ira E. HARTLEY and Magda M. BUSTIAN. They lived in Brinkley, Monroe Co. Arkansas and Magda M. HARTLEY is buried in Brinkley. I have recently discovered a Maggie M. BUSTIAN in the 1880 Prairie County Census. I have never been able to find a marriage record for them. Now I wonder if they might have been married in Prairie County ca. 1881. Can someone in the county please check the two courthouses for a marriage record. I'll gladly reimburse any fees and/or costs.
