From Unknown Newspaper, Walter M. OTT rites held July 20 Walter Martin OTT, 84 who with his wife observed their 66th wedding anniversary, July 9, died late Thursday, July 15 at Eufaula, Okl. A retired farmer and member of the first Baptist Church of Eufaula, Mr. OTT was born Jan. 19, 1887 at Yellville. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church there at 10 a.m. Monday, July 20 with the Pastor Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Besides his wife, Janie of the home, Mr. OTT is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian MEARS of Madton, Wash., and Mrs. Virginia SHROPSHIRE of Hanna, Okla., eight sons, Rommie of Eufaula, John of Olney Springs, Calif., Troy of Hugo, Okla., Jessie of Ridgecrest, Calif., Roy of Prosser, Wash., Joe of Shasffer, Calif., Archie of Royal City, Wash., and Ralph OTT of Madton, Wash.; two brothers, Quince OTT and Garland OTT, and two sisters, Mrs. Addie MORROW and Mrs. Della BEARDEN, all of Yellville. Also survivng are 46 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren.

Mountain Echo, Yellville, AR 12 Aug 1971 Services Held for Mrs Rosa SYLVA Rosa HALL SYLVA, 77, of Flippin, died Aug 6 at the Marion County Hospital. She was born at Flippin June 11, 1894 to Willis and Mollie BURRIS YOUNGER and had lived her lifetime in Marion County. Survivors are two sons, Russell HALL of Amarillo, Texas, and Luther HALL of Buena Park, Calif.; two daughters, Norma TERRY and Audra HODGES, both of Flippin; a sister, Hester WOOD of Anaheim, Calif.; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Aug 8 at the First Baptist Church in Flippin with the Rev Howard KING officiating. Burial was in the Hurst Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hal TERRY, John JAMES, Lonnie BURCH, Loy HALL, Ambrose PILGRIM and Burl MICHELL. Honorary pallbearers, were Jerry PILGRIM, Otis BURRIS, Paul MARBERRY, R D SANDERS and Floyd HOLDEN.

Mountain Echo, Yellville, AR Thursday, 18 Nov 1971, pg 8 HALL Services Held At Flippin Elijah Clark HALL, 99, of Flippin, died at Marion County Hospital Nov. 13. He was born at Rea Valley Sept. 3, 1872, the son of Elijah and Martha (OTT) HALL. He married Laura BURRUSS Nov. 29, 1903. Mr. OTT [sic, should say HALL] was a retired farmer and had lived all his life in Marion County. Four daughters and three sons survive, Mrs. Laura YATES, Lockeford, CA, Mrs. Ruby MANN, Albion, IL, Mrs. Dorothy DUDLEY, Iuka, IL, Mrs. Georgia HOLDEN, Luther B. HALL and Roy C. HALL, all of Flippin, and John Willie HALL, Harrison. Sixteen grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Nov. 15 at the Flippin Baptist Church with Rev. Ray EDWARDS and Rev. Harlen HICKS officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Garland OTT, Herbert OTT, Owen BURRIS, Edgar FLETCHER, Alfred HALL, and Bill Joe HODGES. Honorary pallbearers were Charley OTT, John SNIPES, George HORNER and Harve DOSHIER.

MAXEY, 81, of Yellville, died Wednesday, Oct. 25 in the Marion County Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. MAXEY had been a lifelong resident of Marion County. She was born at Rea Valley on Feb. 7, 1891, the daughter of James Monroe and Rosy Ann (HILL) [sic, should say HALL] TREAT. She married Samuel MAXEY Feb. 14, 1909. Survivors include two sons, Arvil MAXEY of Yellville, and Harve MAXEY of Yakima, WA.; three daughters, Mrs. James CASEY and Mrs. Bob NASH, both of Yellville, and Mrs. Frank SMITH of Siloam Springs; and a sister, Mrs. Quince OTT of Yellville. Mrs. MAXEY was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Oct. 27 at the Assembly of God Church in Yellville with the Rev. J. C. BOLIN of Kansas City, Mo., officiating. Burial was held in the Layton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alfred HALL, Herbert OTT, J. B. OTT, Mike NASH, Paul BECK and Ricky CASEY.
